We upgraded to this version in order to fix the "missing utxos" issue some people were experiencing. The amount of BLK showing in the wallet was not correct, when compared to an online block explorer. Please read everything below BEFORE upgrading.Like Bitcoin (BTC), Blackcoin (BLK) is traded as a commodity in the USA.
So, what exactly is traded?
First, you must understand that "Blackcoin" designates three different things:
1. The Blackcoin Client == the original software that creates the blockchain.
2. The Blockchain == a database [mostly] of Unspent Transaction Outputs ( UTXO
3. The Commodity == BLK == some part of a UTXO.
Owning Blackcoin (BLK) means owning rights to a string of numbers and letters -
a private key - whiBlackcoin, like Bitcoin, is a not like a Bank. There are no accounts. An address
may be associated with an Unspent Transaction Output ( UTXO ). The address can
only be spent with a private key.
Each UTXO "contains" a fixed amount of Blackcoin ( BLK; the currency) which is
a commodity money traded on exchange since 2014.
Each client keeps a record of all transactions on the blockchain, a database - a
collection of files. Roughly once a minute, with constant small variations, a
new block is Blackcoin Q&A!
Clients are the tools which we use to engage with the Blackcoin Blockchain.
More is a Blackcoin client with many features from modern Bitcoin clients.> Q: Hi, I just installed a non-gui wallet on my server, how do i bootstrap? And,
